In-Home Lesson Supervision & Safety

​A parent or designated adult (18+) must be present in the home for the entire lesson.

If no adult is present at the scheduled start time, the teacher will wait up to 10 minutes before the lesson is marked as missed and charged.

If the supervising adult leaves during a lesson, the lesson will end and be counted as completed.

Lessons are held in shared spaces whenever possible. If a room has a door, it must remain open during the lesson.
Lesson Make-Up & Attendance Policy

​Students are allowed three missed lessons per quarter.

24 hours notice is required to schedule a make-up. Emergencies are handled case by case.

Missed lessons must be made up within 90 days or they will be counted as completed.

Prism observes four weeks of vacation per year; lessons missed during these weeks do not count toward the three allowed misses. [See calendar here]

If the teacher cancels, you may choose a make-up lesson or receive a lesson credit toward the next month’s payment.
