We prioritize giving our students well-rounded, customized curriculum to support their journey with music.
RECITALS
Biannual recitals are hosted to showcase the skills that the students have been working hard on. These recitals are a requirement to participate in. One recital is held during the spring, and another is a holiday recital. Performing in front of a crowd is a valuable skill to have, as it builds confidence and helps the students overcome stage fright. Working toward this tangible goal provides an opportunity to feel successful.
COMPETITIONS
An exciting part of Prism Music Education's program are the annual competitions. Participating is optional, but highly encouraged! Everyone has six weeks to earn as many points as they can through various ways, such as finishing a piece, accurately completing theory pages, or a music related game. The top scoring students get to pick an experience to celebrate their win. Previous celebrations have been a game night, arcade and mini golf, pool party, and an escape room.
PROGRESS REPORTS
At Prism Music Education, we provide progress reports twice a year to keep students and families actively involved in the learning process. These reports give a clear snapshot of achievements, areas for improvement, and overall growth. By offering feedback biannually, we allow time for reflection, goal setting, and curriculum adjustments, helping maintain motivation, ensure transparent communication, and let students track their development in a structured, meaningful way.
